For context, I got back to playing handball after 2 years (due to a knee injury and Covid), in a new country for a bit less than six months now. WebFly-By Shooting How the Drill Works: Staying behind the three-point line, a player will pump fake, take one dribble to the left or right, and then shoot a three-pointer. Purpose: A key coaching tactic against great three-point shooters is to “run them off the three-point line” by sprinting out and leaping to block / distract the shooter.
